Mommy Finger

The words are, "Mommy finger, Mommy finger, where are you?…. Here I am, Here I am, how do you do?" It also works well with black olives. (Naomi is shirtless because we just came if from playing in the sprinklers and she couldn't wait to eat.)

Picnic!

These hungry kids didn't want to come in for lunch--so we brought lunch outside!

Veterinarians

This horse was a Christmas gift for Sam when he was 1 year old--he's been part of our family for close to 4 years and he's been played with a LOT. When he was brand new, he would talk or sing a song when you squeeze his ears. We think he has a loose wire now though because even with fresh batteries the horse only makes sounds intermittently (he only very occasionally makes a sound). The kids decided to give him a checkup and see if they could fix him...

Done With Lunch...

…wait, maybe not! Naomi tells me that she's strong now, so she's ready to get out of her chair. But then she sees that I have peanut butter toast and decides that she's not quite big enough yet and needs a MONSTER bite!

Cycling

Naomi has taken over Sam's old tricycle--and she's getting pretty good at pedaling!

She's also getting pretty good at fixing bicycles. (Her tool is a bubble blowing wand. At the end she runs off to get a different wand.)

Watching, Waiting

Sam helped roll the chilled cookie dough this morning--now he's pulled up a chair and he's keeping an eye on them while they bake.

Baking!

Sam and Naomi love to help with making cookies. The sifter is their favorite part (aside from licking the spatula at the end)!

Fishing Trip!

Sam and Naomi had a GREAT time on last week's fishing trip! They even caught two little perch (with a little help). Here are some highlights from their trip with Mom, Dad, Grandpa, and Papock.
