Sam: Um, yes. I want a lemon.
Me: Lemon yogurt?
Sam: No. A lemon.
Me: They aren't really good by themselves, are you sure you want lemon? They make your mouth pucker.

Outer Banks

The whole family had a fun trip to North Carolina! Grandma and Papock rented a beach house for a week and we got to hang out with them, Uncle Mark, Uncle Mike and Miss Erin, and Emily and Clara (Sam and Naomi's cousins). We caught blue crabs in the sound, played on the beach, swam in the pool, and had a great time!

 

Omi & Penny

Naomi is so excited to see Penny up close (usually the cats run away from her pretty quickly)!

Sam's Spaceship

Sam loves playing in here. He tells us he's going to "Lake Tagatogama" to catch some walleye fish, and that he's wearing his buckles (seatbelt). He gets very disappointed that the cats won't go in there with him. Those two cushions on the left are a carseat for Naomi. He also gets a little disappointed that she doesn't want to play in there for long (i.e., Mom doesn't want her falling off the couch!):

Some cool weather makes for a pleasant trip to the playground. Omi never stays on the blanket, and seems to think it's funny to put wood chips in her mouth (but a nice shot of those two teeth and red toenails!)
