Santa!

We took Sam and Naomi to see Santa today! It was our annual visit to "Santa Land" at Macy's. They make the entire 8th floor into "A Day in the Life of an Elf". The kids love it, and after seeing it all we visited Santa and the kids told him what they want for Christmas. Naomi told him she wants a Christmas treat (food, of course); Sam asked for a glow-in-the-dark hex bug Elf (which, of course, doesn't exist and Santa can't possible come up with).

We took Sam to see the "Teddy Bear Band" at the birthday party for the kids' school (the Early Childhood Family Education program is 40 years old this year). Sam danced for 45 minutes straight!"

A toy dinosaur grows and "hatches" out of the egg when you place it in water for about 3 days. Sam has been patiently checking on it!
